She\u2019s just joined the Berkeley Law faculty \u2014 the ninth hire for the school this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chien is a Berkeley Law alumna and studies a wide range of topics, including innovation, intellectual property, and the criminal justice system.
